Honni, which is part of the marketing services group The Honey Partnership is looking for a PR Account Executive with agency experience to work on a portfolio of consumer technology accounts. The role offers career progression to become an Account Manager. The job is based in San Francisco.

We would like you to be responsible for delivering campaigns through traditional print, broadcast, online media and social, under the guidance and supervision of an account manager and director. As an account executive, you act as the link between Honni and its clients. You will strive to understand your client’s industry, its business needs and goals, and then organise activity to produce effective campaigns.

You must kick ass at:


– Meeting and corresponding with clients regularly with your account manager
– Building and maintaining a media contact and influencer lists
– Keep up to date with media, including newspapers and online
– Research, write, edit, proofread, and dispense written material to media
– Monitor clients and alert the team to possible issues
– Give presentations to potential and existing clients
– Work with account managers to devise a campaign that meets the client’s brief and budget
– Present campaign ideas to your account team
– Help solve client problems and ensure deadlines are met
– Check, report and measure a campaign’s progress
– Manage third party suppliers engaged on behalf of a client for a campaign
– Keeping in contact with the client and team at all stages of the campaign
– You will usually work on four or six accounts at the same time

– Good spoken and written communication skills
– Strong presentation and negotiation skills
– Confidence, tact and a persuasive manner
– Good organisational and time management skills
– Great people skills, for working with a range of colleagues and clients
– The ability to lead and motivate a team
– A professional manner
– Good business sense and the ability to work to budgets

A Bachelor of Arts degree in PR, communications, or journalism is preferred
